About Me

Raised in Scottsdale, Tara attended the University of Arizona as an undergraduate, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. She also attended the University’s College of Law, where she earned Summa Cum Laude honors while completing her Juris Doctorate degree.

Prior to entering the mortgage industry, Tara practiced law in Arizona for ten years, focusing on the legal and business needs of companies and individuals in the areas of commercial litigation, bankruptcy, corporate finance, and general corporate matters. After several years managing a large mortgage origination team, she joined Cobalt Mortgage in 2010. Along with her husband, Todd, Tara manages Cobalt’s Arizona branches.

Tara and Todd have been married since 1990, and have three daughters - Lacey, Emeline, and Giselle. They live in Phoenix, Arizona, and enjoy a variety of activities, including hiking, running, and cycling.
